Why we won’t accept AI generated writing
It has been our experience that AI writing is subpar to human-written work. AI sentences are filled with fluffy nonsense that really don’t say anything at all, but use an awful lot of words to do it. Repeated use of anti-thetical parallels are just basically word-padding a manuscript and brings no value to the reader.
If you are a writer who feels an AI generated version of your story is better than what you can actually write yourself, your writing will never improve. The key things holding new writers back are a weak grasp on grammar and understanding plot and structure. All this can be learned from books. Heck, we don’t even care if you have your dearest AI explain to you how it’s supposed to work.
If you have the passion for writing, then learn everything you can about plot, character arcs, and structure. Write poorly a million times before you write well. Yes, this will take time, but your brain creates that pathways to maintain your new writing habits over this period of time. This is something you will never gain from AI.
Books that have been generated with artificial intelligence are boring. They are repetitious, predictable, and empty. There are millions of them now out in the marketplace and none of them are original, despite what your closest AI has told you. When a reader picks up your book, don’t settle for them getting bored because it feels like your book is just like everyone else’s.
